The Transnet Foundation once again partnered with Trialogue; (one of only a few consultancies in South Africa that exclusively focuses on corporate responsibility issues) on its annual conference held on the 24th and 25th of May 2016 at The Forum, in Bryanston. With more than 18 years of experience in the corporate social investment space, they are undoubtedly at the forefront of new developments in sustainability and CSI.
In collaboration with the Department of Basic Education, Transnet Foundation’s Socio-Economic Infrastructure Development portfolio put together a career guidance day for five schools in Thokoza, in the East Rand, on Tuesday.

The annually held Transnet Leadership and Life Skills Camp kicked off to a lot of fanfare at the Bon HON Hotel Riviera, in the Vaal. From the 29th of March to the 6th of April, a group of 40 learners will be hosted by Transnet Foundation and facilitated and managed by Vaiti Staffing & Training Solutions to deliver a myriad of life changing skills aimed at giving the young ambassadors the tools to self-manage and become future leaders.
Transnet Foundation has been very active in all nine South African provinces including KwaZulu Natal where our Employee Volunteer Programme (EVP) has been in action since 2012 touching many souls in need and transforming a number of infrastructures from schools to old people’s homes.
Transnet in conjunction with the Pen Foundation have donated 458 pairs of school shoes. The hand over of the shoes took place at the Ngwabi Primary School, Nongoma, KZN.
