Theresa Vivian Moila, Senior Manager: Education is an alumnus of the University of Limpopo and Demontfort University in Leicester, UK. She is a skilled social worker with an array of expertise. She completed her undergraduate BA degree and postgraduate Honours studies in Social Work at the University of Limpopo Turfloop Campus before obtaining an MBA from The South African branch of the UK based Demontfort University.
Her expertise on matters relating to, amongst others, Community Development, HIV/AIDS programmes, change management, labour relations and project management for change and upliftment is seamless. She also has experience in the academic, imparting her knowledge to students as tutor and lecturer at her alma mater, the University of Limpopo Turfloop Campus, Venda University of Technology, the University of Johannesburg, and Wits University.
Moila has presented various workshops, is a popular motivational speaker, has read papers at conferences and has co-authored a research report for the Human Sciences Research Council. She has worked for various entities such as the Women’s Development Foundation, Benoni Social Development Decentralised Office, Gauteng Social Development; and the Department of Public Service and Administration.
She is membership of the Board of Usindiso Ministries for abused women and children, and the Vice Chairperson of School Governing Body of Parktown High School for Girls. Moila has facilitated the building of more than 30 schools and 7 education resource centres in a number of Provinces. She has also pioneered the establishment of a successful learner development programme for Transnet Foundation.
